I thought I would try my hand at building a LEGO® traffic sign that one might find at many of the construction sites to help direct traffic. I have been a fan of the RaspberryPi’s since they first came out, and, in a similar fashion, I have been impressed with size and power of the Arduino single board computers. Paul Stoffregen raised money on Kickstarter to fund his development and they I purchased his “next generation” board, the Teensy 3.1. This board is about the size of your small finger, and therefore suitable to “squeeze” into a small LEGO® creation.
I have attached a video of the sign functioning, but not complete here.
Expect an update soon and a showing at Heritage Park Railway Days!
